We never like to start the year with an emergency appeal, but Purpose Farm is facing three critical situations, and we need your immediate help to continue caring for our animals.

1️⃣ Zeb the Cat’s Painful Tooth Fracture – $2,610 Needed Purpose Farm's sweet cat Zeb has been struggling to eat and has developed a foul smell in his mouth. A vet exam confirmed a fractured tooth and severe decay. Since he is FIV-positive and prone to diabetes, bloodwork was done to ensure he is stable for surgery. The good news? He is healthy enough for the procedure! The bad news? We can’t schedule it until we raise the $2,900 needed.
UPDATE: Zeb could no longer wait for the surgery. The vet had an opening and Zeb has his surgery April 18th. We need to raise the funds ASAP to pay for his bill. We have $2,610 left to raise. Thank you to those who have donated already!

2️⃣ Farm Vehicle Breakdown – Your Gift DOUBLED! Our all-terrain vehicle, which we use every day to transport hay, feed, and clean animal enclosures, has completely broken down. We’ve tried multiple repairs, but it’s beyond saving. We cannot properly care for the animals without it.
💡 A generous donor will MATCH every donation up to $5,000! That means your donation will be doubled to help us reach the $10,000 needed for a new vehicle. UPDATE: We have $3020 left to raise. Thank you to those who donated so far!

3️⃣ Ziggy the Pig’s Emergency Dental Surgery – $6,614 Needed Ziggy has been battling a recurring mouth abscess, but now he has started bleeding from his mouth daily, and we can no longer treat it conservatively. He was admitted to Cornell on Sunday, February 9th for a CT scan under anesthesia, allowing the specialist to see the full extent of the issue and provide necessary treatment. . UPDATE: Ziggy had many complications and his surgery was much more involved then just a simple extraction of some teeth. His first visit ended up lasting over a week long stay at Cornell Hospital. After returning to the farm he had a reaction to the stitches and ended up back in the hospital. He is still currently on medication, but doing very well. However his bill ended up being $9,341. We are left with raising $6614 to pay his hospital bills.
