Shrek

Dominic our standard size donkey has social issues due to his past. We have been told by more than one donkey trainer that getting another in your pocket, trusting donkey MAY help Dominic to learn to trust us as he follows lead from the other donkey. We have worked with Dominic for the past 2.5 years with minimal steps forward. So as our last resort to help Dominic we decided to move forward with getting him a friend. Shrek is amazingly adorable. He loves to cuddle and will wrap his head right close to your body as you pet and hug him. He loves kisses and I think he will be a great addition to our youth sessions. Shrek came from auction along with a standard Jenny and 2 Belgians. They found homes elsewhere. Shrek was the last one left at a local sale barn that is able to go to the auctions and rescue the animals and bring them back to CNY to find them homes. Whether or not Dominic and him will become best friends time will tell, either way God has a plan for little Shrek and we look forward to many years with him at Purpose Farm!
