Missy Honey

Miniature Pinscher: Chocolate

TO MY DEAR OLD LADY MISSY HONEY:
It was a very sad day that Saturday morning when our dear little old lady Missy Honey passed. She had been battling a bad upper respiratory infection. We ran every test possible and we could just not get her past it. She passed with Raven by her side and in Noah's arms. It was so fitting for her to pass in Noah's arms as that is how her life started was with him. She has been with us from the very beginning. She has lived every adventure we have lived from our first apartment, to our wedding, the birth of three more children, all our moves, till our final home on the farm. Missy was a crazy trouble maker who would make her presence known. She was a quick escape artist, and drove all of our neighbors crazy with her bark. But she was loyal to our family acting not as a child but as a roommate and second mom. She was always in the way trying to help us with what ever we were doing. If one of the babies would cry she would go crazy to get to them to make sure they were alright. She was always underfoot, making messes and driving us crazy. Life without you will never be the same! I would clean your messes all day long and run after you for a lifetime if I could. You will be forever missed ♥

Laurie

Picture
Miniature
Grey Mare
Age: In her thirties
Arrival: Christmas Eve 2009-Died November 19,2012

Laurie and her son Studly lived out in a field un-cared for with an elderly couple. When the wife passed away her husband got rid of all the animals. When we brought her home she was emaciated and we weren't sure if she would make it. Slowly she put weight on. Laurie was able to roam free without a halter and she would stay by our side or find her way to lush green grass for a snack or find her way down to the feed station. She would come running to a whistle and whinny as soon as she heard the whistle or us call her name. She was a sweet old lady and will forever be our son Asher's best friend :) She will be missed.
